What are your hopes for the future?

What are your dreams?

How can you make them happen?

WHERE: Ancramdale, NY (2 ½ hours from NYC, accessible by train)
WHO: For College Women and New Graduates

Overview:

It is common for college students to experience anxiety about what they will do after graduation. The Woodhull Institute for Ethical Leadership’s retreat in beautiful Upstate New York provides an intimate space away from cell phones, e-mail, and school pressures for a small group of women to think about what it is they really want and how to make it happen.

At the retreat, Woodhull Faculty will facilitate a variety of workshops including:

Tapping into your inner voice

What it means to be an ethical leader

Speaking with confidence in an interview

How to develop mentoring relationships

Why you should always negotiate your first salary

… and much more!
You will join a network of more than 2,000 Woodhull Alumnae who are leaders in their workplaces and communities, and can become your future mentors. Leave the retreat with a clearer vision of what you are going to accomplish in the months and years to come!

Format:

A team of Woodhull Professionals, Fellows and Scholars will teach young women skills to prepare them for leadership roles in their communities. The three-day retreat includes modules on: Ethics and Leadership Development, Public Speaking, Negotiation, Interview Skills, Job Seeking Strategies, Financial Literacy, Advocacy and Identity/Voice workshops. Meditation, hiking, journaling and group discussions are encouraged.
